Early Xmas prezzie gives Rothwell 2018 boost

The return of James McCabe as principal cornet has given Rothwell Temperance a great festive boost as they look towards 2018.

Rothwell Temperance has announced that they have just been given a fantastic early Christmas present with the news that former principal cornet player James McCabe has returned to fill the role again.

James previously held the top-man slot for five years, helping the band win the Yorkshire Area and Grand Shield titles as well as claim three top-six finishes at the Royal Albert Hall.

James is such a great bloke and we were delighted that he has always referred to us as 'his band' with such respect for conductor David Roberts and Rothwell playersspokesperson
