The Norfolk Wherry Band will be making a long awaited appearance on BBC2 on New Year's Day after it was announced that they will both seen and heard in action on the popular television programme 'Great British Railway Journeys'.
Closely guarded secret
The band's appearance has been kept a closely guarded secret for almost six months after they took part in filming alongside presenter and former Conservative politician, Michael Portillo, at Wroxham on the Bittern Line in Norfolk.

Announcement
The announcement on the band's website stated: "In June we were filmed at Wroxham with Michael Portillo for the 'Great British Railway Journeys' series of programmes. The episode 'Cromer to Cambridge' will be shown on BBC2 at 6.30pm on New Year's Day."
