The band's professional MD Dr Robert Childs will be conducting, whilst in the audience will be his wife Lorraine who received wonderful care and support from the NHS Trust hospital staff during her recent illness.

He told 4BR: "Velindre helps hundreds of people every year, and the amazing staff do a quite incredible job. This is a just a thank you back in return from my family to them, so it's is going to be a night of great music and support.

I'm delighted that the band is joined by the Risca Male Voice Choir, one of the finest in Wales, and I'm sure there is going to be something on the menu for everyone to enjoy."
