Lostock Hall Memorial Band has announced the appointment of Joshua Hughes as their new Musical Director.

Fresh approach

Band Chairman Martin Walker told 4BR: "During the audition process Josh came to the fore with his enthusiasm to bring a fresh approach to the band and eagerness to be involved and lead the organisation's well established junior band.

We are confident the band will progress well with Josh and look forward to working with him."
