The service details have been announced for the funeral of David Morris.

The respected musician was the conductor of Woodhouse Prize Silver Band and a cornet player with Chapeltown Silver Band.

He was also a popular photographer, graphic designer and banding enthusiast who was well known for being an integral part of the success of the Bolsover Festival of Brass, Bolsover International Brass Band Summer School and Wychavon Festival of Brass.

Funeral

The funeral will be held on Monday 20th November at 1.00pm at City Road Crematorium, Sheffield.

All friends, colleagues, bandsmen welcome.

The family has requested no flowers except for the immediate family.

All donations will be in aid of Chesterfield Canal Trust and the Yorkshire Brass Band Regional Championships, where a trophy will be donated in his memory4BR
