The Hade Edge Band is securing its future by linking up with players of all ages and abilities.

Hade Edge
The Hade Edge continues to march on with latest initiative and signings

The Hade Edge Band has announced the launch of their brand new Training Band, as they look to create a seamless link to encourage players to develop from beginning stage of their playing to senior band level.

Open Day

The band is planning an Open Day at their rehearsal room in Hade Edge on Sunday October 1st (1.00pm to 4.00pm) and anyone interested in joining the Training Band is very welcome to call in and try out various instruments.

Senior band players alongside MD Amy Ellershaw will be on hand to help and assist anyone that is interested in joining or would like their children to start playing a brass instrument.

For further information please contact Robert on 07521 600602 or just call in on October 1st.

New players

Meanwhile, the senior Hade Edge Band has announced a number of new signings as they look towards the next year's Yorkshire Regional Championships in Huddersfield.

Husband and wife team of Grenville and Jayne Moore come in on front row cornet and first horn respectively from Hepworth with the vastly experienced Brian Taylor joining on soprano from Diggle. Up and coming youngster Georgia Kirk joins from Deepcar Band on second horn.
