If there is a Fourth Section Championship qualifier out there looking to showcase their Cheltenham preparation, then Unite the Union Band can help...

  Unite the Union is looking for a Fourth Section Cheltenham qualifier to complete their line-up

The Unite the Union Band is looking for some help to complete their playing line-up ahead of their appearance at the National Finals at Cheltenham — although it's not for their forthcoming contest stage performance but an open night preview feature of test-piece renditions from bands taking part in the event.

Fourth Section

Unite are already joined by Worsborough and Shirland Welfare on Sunday September 10th at the Niagara Conference Centre, Sheffield (S6 1LU) but are looking for a Fourth Section band to complete the line-up.

Remarks

Each band will perform their National Final test-piece in front of the audience and will also receive an adjudication commentary and remarks from the highly respected conductor, composer and arranger Leigh Baker.

Longridge Band

June 16 • Longridge Band invite applications for the positions of Flugel and Eb Bass.. We are a friendly and committed band that enjoys a great balance of concerts and contests throughout the year. A contribution to travel expenses are provided.


Harrogate Band

June 15 • After a fantastic result at the Wetherby Drovers Contest, The Harrogate Band are looking for a front row and a back row cornet player to complete the team. Rehearsals Weds 8pm with occasional Sundays at our own bandroom with great transport links


Tintwistle Band

June 15 • We have a vacancy for soprano cornet, and with lots of exciting engagements coming up would love to get this seat filled!. As a second section band,we rehearse every Monday and Thursday 8-10pm at our bandroom in Tintwistle under the baton of MD Jim Henson.
