It is hoped that the first World Brass Day will be celebrated around the globe on 23rd September with a series of performances of its official anthem, 'La Mourisque' by 16th century renaissance composer Tielman Susato.
The global celebration under the heading 'Music Inspires', is the brainchild of renowned trumpet player Prof. Otto Sauter, the founder of the World Brass and European Brass Associations.
