Red Admiral look for an extra financial flutter

The Red Admiral Music Academy is looking for votes to gain help with their musical aims — so put your X in the box.

Red Admiral Band
The Red Admiral Academy has enjoyed great success — and wants more...

The Red Admiral Music Academy is trying to raise much needed funds to help purchase new instruments — and can do with your vote to help them achieve their goal.

The Academy aims to teach people (children and adults) to play brass instruments in a fun and friendly environment. They have been running for just over three years with amazing success, and now have over 70 members aged 6 — 70+.

Everyone who comes along is taught by top level volunteer brass musicians, and there is a special emphasis on getting every member of a family involved in some way.

Demand outstripping supply

Conductor Danny Brookes told 4BR: "We have enjoyed such a great deal of success due to our approach that we have found that demand is outstripping supply in terms of instruments.

We don't want to say no to anyone, so we are desperately looking for instruments old and new and working hard to keep growing. If anyone can help, then get in touch, but if they go to our website they can help us by voting too!"

If anyone can help, then get in touch, but if they go to our website they can help us by voting too!MD, Danny Brookes
