Up, up and away for Hazel Grove

A proactive approach to raising sponsorship has paid off for Hazel Grove Band.

A proactive approach to gaining sponsorship help has seen Hazel Grove Band secure financial support from new sources.

In addition to sponsorship from local estate agent, Woodhall Properties, announced earlier in the summer, the band has secured a grant from the Manchester Airport Community Trust Fund.

This is the second tranche of support follows the help they provided in meeting the costs of constructing a suspended ceiling to improve the acoustics in the band's rehearsal facility.

Second award

The second award will fund new equipment and music to refresh their programme at events such as their forthcoming 25th anniversary concert in November.

Meanwhile, further help has come in the form of a partnership with The Grove Ale House, a local microbrewery who will be raising funds for the band over the next 12 months as their 'Charity of the Year'.
