The annual general meeting also saw the return of Shaun Elliott returned as Chairman after a well earned 12 month break, with a new team of officers put in place as the band looks forward to the second half of 2017 and beyond.

The band has a bright and exciting future ahead and the new committee have already agreed a set of priorities to be put in place as soon as possible Chairman, Shaun Elliott

Exciting future

Shaun told 4BR: "After 20 years in the role the first time, and after a nice break, it's good to be back. The band has a bright and exciting future ahead and the new committee have already agreed a set of priorities to be put in place as soon as possible.

I'm convinced that the best times for Staffs lie ahead, and I'm looking forward to being a part of that process."
