An ensemble of ten talented players from Enderby Youth Band recently played their part in entertaining a 2,000 capacity full house at the De Montfort Hall in Leicester when they joined rock star Tom Chaplin, the lead singer of Keane, on his solo UK tour.
Magnificent
The players provided the brass accompaniment to two of his songs, 'Quicksand' and 'The Wave' which were received by huge cheers and a standing ovation, especially after the star described them as 'magnificent'. The songs had originally been recorded with a regimental brass band.
