14 bands prepare to light a victory torch in Kettering

14 bands will take to the stage in their bid to claim the 2017 All England Masters International Brass Band Championship at The Lighthouse Theatre, Kettering on Sunday 28th May (starting at 10.00am).

The Torchbearer

The set-work this year is 'The Torchbearer' by Peter Graham, with the defending champion Virtuosi GUS, aiming to make it a Masters hat-trick, up against 13 rivals that include Brass Band Willebroek from Belgium, who recently came fourth at the European Championships in Oostende.

There are also bands from Yorkshire, North West, Midlands, Wales, West of England and London & Southern Counties.

4BR will be making the trip to bring live coverage of the action.
