Brighouse & Rastrick head to Oostende boosted by top of the range Besson instruments from Band Supplies

Brighouse & Rastrick Band will take to the stage at the European Championships in Oostende this weekend bolstered by brand new tools of the trade, following the delivery of Besson Prestige and Sovereign instruments from leading retailer Band Supplies.

Meets their needs

Band Supplies Leeds Branch Manager told 4BR: "The band recently approached us to upgrade their instruments to meet the demands of elite level banding. We were able to put together a deal that met their needs and has seen the band take on board Besson's top of the range Prestige and Sovereign cornets and the new Sovereign tenor horn.

We are delighted to be able to give them such a boost prior to the European Championships and hope to continue this partnership link into the future."

Confidence

Brighouse & Rastrick President Lyndon Stacey added: "We are delighted these instruments meet our aspirations and shows our confidence in the outstanding service and professionalism of Band Supplies. It's given the band a huge lift as we look to reclaim the European title for the first time since 1998 under our MD Prof David King."
