Mad Mott makes move to MK

MK Brass has announced the appointment of Jonathan Mott as their new Musical Director.

The former Ransome and Virtuosi GUS tuba player has previously conducted Raunds Temperance and Enderby and returns to conducting after a short break from banding.

Great bunch

Jonathan told 4BR: "I must be mad really, but after having had a short break I found the lure of the bandroom too much. They are a great bunch at MK and I'm really looking forward to working with them."

A band spokesperson told 4BR: "We would like to welcome Jonathan and look forward to working with him, whilst we also thank former conductor Paul Fensom who at short notice, guided us to third place at the recent London & Southern Counties Area contest."
