As they continue their preparations to represent England at next weeks European Championships in Ostende, Brighouse & Rastrick has issued an appeal for the return of the famous purple jackets.

Speaking on behalf of the band, Ryan Watkins told 4BR: 'Following an inventory check, it has become apparent that there is a clear shortage of the band uniform with a number of stage jackets and trousers, walking out jackets, Whit Friday tunics and band ties in the safe keeping of those that have worn them.

This has become a problem for new members and extra players when they've been required".

Ryan added "We would ask anyone who has any part of the Brighouse uniform to return it the band room in person, or contact the dedicated email at lostandfound@brighouseandrastrick.com so arrangements can be made for its return".
