The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain (NYBBGB) is to hold the first of its three Easter concerts this weekend.
Uppingham and Cambridge
This evening (Friday 14th April) at Uppingham School in Rutland, the band of 80 players will be led by its Artistic Director, Bramwell Tovey.
Tomorrow evening, the band will perform at the Cambridge University Concert Hall, West Road, Cambridge with both concerts starting at 7.30pm.
Cobb and Moore to feature
The concerts will feature two guests soloists not just from the world of brass bands, but currently making names for themselves with the London Symphony Orchestra, Philip Cobb and Peter Moore.
The band will also be performing at The Barbican in London on Saturday 22nd April with a pre-concert talk hosted by Dr Robert Childs and Richard Evans commencing at 6.15pm
