Band Supplies the bugle call of success

The latest 'must have' musical instruments for successful brass band contest winners is a set of plastic bugles...

Band Supplies
The winning combination of bugle and gig bag — and a happy customer of course!

Band Supplies enjoyed a great Scottish Championship in Perth last weekend where they sold out not just of their usual stock of brass band instruments and merchandise — but also of plastic bugles!!

Bugle demand

A delighted, but rather surprised MD Ronnie Tennant told 4BR: "The Scottish Championships is a hub of activity and fun — and that seemed to start the demand for the bugles.

Once one person had blown one in celebration after their band's results, everyone wanted a go. I think it may catch on!!"

Gig bags

Also selling out was the fantastic range of Fusion gig-bags, which are now becoming one of the most after items for players.

"The Fusion gig-bags offer great quality and protection at a really affordable price,"Ronnie added. "Players want to protect their instruments and they offer the perfect easy to carry solution.

Between them and the bugles we had a fantastic — but noisy time of it!"
