West Midlands ready to open solo doors again

The popular West Midlands Brass Band Association Solo Duet & Quartet Contest will be held once more this May.

WMBBA
The West Midlands BBA will once again hold its popular contest at Studley High School.

4BR has been informed that the popular West Midlands Brass Band Association Solo Duet & Quartet Contest will be held once more at Studley High School in Warwickshire on Sunday 7th May.

Success

Following the success of last year's competition where competitors came from as far afield as Bristol and Llangollen, the organisers are hoping for an equally fine turn out of players.

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Everyone was very complimentary of the efforts that all of the youngsters made, and we feel privileged to be able to give them a further chance to develop their talents.

Last year was a brilliant day and we hope to be able to build on that this time around."
