Fantasy Land for Cobb fans as he's in action at the RNCM today — for free!

One of the world's great players is in Manchester today and tomorrow — and you can hear him and learn from him for free — so make sure you get along!

London Symphony Orchestra principal trumpet player Philip Cobb will be making a special appearance at the RNCM in Manchester today and tomorrow.

And you can go along for free and enjoy him in action too — as this afternoon (Monday 27th February) at 2.30pm he will be giving an hour long recital at the Carol Nash Hall.

At 3.30pm until 6.30pm the Buffet Crampon artist will also host a trumpet/cornet student study class at Studio 3 where he will explore playing technique, performance issues and rehearsal regimes as well as looking at excerpts from the repertoire.

In addition, on Tuesday he will lead a special class featuring RNCM student from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
