Kippax offer test piece showcase

The Kippax Band is offering the chance to hear the First, Second, Third and Fourth Section Area test-pieces for free at a forthcoming run-out event

There is a free afternoon of entertainment and Area test-piece work on show at Kippax.

The Kippax Band will hold its first 'Test-Piece Run-Out' afternoon on Sunday 19th February, at the Kippax Band Social Club (17 Mount Pleasant, Kippax Leeds. LS25 7AT

Taking part

The bands participating in the event will be:

Knottingley Silver (First Section)
Kippax (Second Section)
Wetherby Silver (Third Section)
Tingley Brass (Fourth Section)

Commencing

The afternoon will commence at 4.30pm with Tingley Brass Band kicking off proceedings with each band performing the set work for the Area contest and a piece of their own choice.

Entry for the afternoon is free and refreshments will be available throughout from the bands fully licensed bar. An adjudication will be provided by David Lancaster.
