Students reveal invigilator teams

Philip Harper, Annie Crookston, Mark Wilkinson and Katrina Marzella are the judges to be impressed at this year's UniBrass Championships.

The team of judges to be impressed at Harrogate has been announced.

The UniBrass Championship organisers have announced the team of adjudicators who will oversee the competitive action at Harrogate International Conference Centre on February 18th.

Judges

Cory Band MD Philip Harper will be joined by former Whitburn conductor Annie Crookston to compare and contrast the contenders in the UniBrass Trophy, with Foden's principal cornet Mark Wilkinson and Black Dyke baritone star Katrina Marzella undertaking the UniBrass Shield contest.

It was announced that due to logistical reasons Queens' University Belfast and Zone One Student Brass will not compete in the UniBrass Trophy, although nine bands will start take part, including defending champion University of Manchester.

The UniBrass Shield will also be without Cardiff University Brass Band, although ten bands will hope to become the first name on the specially designed trophy.
