New home

Following many successful years Groby College, the event has now also moved to the home of the LBBA's open band contest at Loughborough Endowed Schools in Leicestershire.

The event will take place on Sunday 2nd April, and is open to players from any band, with age group sections and open competitions for brass players and percussionists. Also on offer to LBBA member competitors is the Harry Bray Memorial Trophy for the overall Junior Champion.

Improve

Speaking of the change Steve Plant, Chairman of the LBBA told 4BR: "Our committee is always looking to try and improve all events and provide the best competition experience for our performers, members, and guests.

Following a very successful transition to Loughborough for our Open contest in November, we are delighted to now be able to offer the same facilities for our Spring Festival competitors".
