The Household Division Open Day offers an unique opportunity to find out more about a musical career in the iconic bands.

The world famous Bands of the Household Division will be holding an Open Day, followed by a concert in the iconic Guards Chapel at Wellington Barracks, London on Wednesday 25th January.

The event (commencing at 7.00pm) will be led by the Grenadier Guards Band, with the Scots Guards Band presenting the free evening concert which will be a tribute to the great Scottish poet Robert Burns.

Fantastic insight

Speaking exclusively to 4BR, a spokesperson said: "Open Days provide a fantastic insight into the exciting and varied life of a service musician and aims to answer any questions people may have prior to applying for such a rewarding career path."

During the Open Day attendees will be able to watch the iconic Changing of the Guard ceremony, participate in a rehearsal with the Grenadier Guards, observe an audition clinic and be part of a career presentation given by the Corps of Army Music.
