Dave Kinross and Kenny Crookston look at the year that was 2016. The Brass Band Podcast inaugural awards celebrate the best player, organisation and contribution to banding along with the best performance not to win and the less formal 'You're having a laugh' category.

They pay respects to the famous names in the movement who left us this year and describe their hopes for brass bands in 2017.
