Elliott Brass Trombone Artist, Simon Cowen, recently visited the renowned Theatre of Dreams football ground at Old Trafford (above) along with the Elliott Brass Ensemble to take part in the traditional Manchester United Christmas Carol Service.
Carol Service
Wingates Musical Director Paul Andrews has been part of the club's Carol Service for the past 24 years, entertaining many stars such as Sir Alex Ferguson, Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes as well as more recently Ander Herrera and Juan Mata.
This year the club jumped at the opportunity to invite the Elliott Brass Ensemble as part of their celebrations
Musical extension
Elliott Brass was formed as an extension of the well known brass repair and renovation company, Brass Toff.
The 10 piece ensemble consists of some of the finest musicians in the North West from various bands associated to owner Paul Andrews, including Simon Cowen, Principal Trombone of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
The group represents the Elliott Brass range of instruments, sold exclusively from UK retailers Brass Toff, with Simon becoming an Elliott Artist earlier this year after trialling the new Elliott Trombone, which he regularly plays in many of the leading UK Symphony Orchestras.
