Sterling Instruments had their own double triumph to celebrate at the recent Brass in Concert Championship at Sage Gateshead — with two of their leading euphonium artists winning prestigious individual awards.
Prize winners
Cory star Glyn Williams picked up the 'Best Principal Euphonium' prize for a record sixth time, whilst Robbert Vos (above) of Brass Band Shoonhoven became only the second overseas player to win the Geoffrey Whitham Award as 'Best Soloist' for his stunning rendition of 'Red Novae' by Peter Graham.
