The Childs Play collaboration is now to be enjoyed on YouTube

The innovative Childs Play project which was premiered last month to widespread critical and popular acclaim can now by enjoyed on YouTube.

Written by composer Paul Lovatt-Cooper, it featured narration by 'Listen to the Band' presenter Frank Renton (alongside 'mini-me' 'Little Frank') exploring a family friendly time-line history of many well known nursery rhymes and games from the Victorian era to the present — all underlined by the importance they provide in a child's enjoyment of educational play.

Collaboration

It also featured Black Dyke in a musical collaboration alongside Shirebrook Miners Welfare, Shirebrook Academy Wind Band Bands and pupils from local primary schools and was the culmination of a 10 month long project made possible through funding by Arts Council England through 'Grants for Arts'.
