Thanks to the support of Kapitol Promotions, the Brass for Africa charity will be in attendance with a trade stand at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday.
It means that if people have the chance they can bring alone some old instruments, mouthpieces, music, stands etc to be donated to a great cause — knowing that you will be making a huge difference through the power of brass band music.
Transform lives
Paul Collins of Brass for Africa told 4BR: "We are grateful for the opportunity to raise our profile at the prestigious National Championship in the heart of London, and to inform the British brass banding community about the benefits of the charity's brass music programmes which are delivered to, and transform the lives of some of the most disadvantaged children and young people in Africa.
These are children living in orphanages, slum dwellers, street children and young offenders: Children that society has left behind."
Life changing
He added: "Brass for Africa is bringing the life changing opportunity of brass music education and banding to 600 children twice weekly and making a positive change to the lives of over 1000 children through their ongoing welfare and local organisational support programmes."
The charity is also training and employing young musicians from within their programmes as music teachers and currently provides training and employment for 30 local people.
And now you can also support the charity for as little as £1.00 with the launch of their special '£1 per month campaign' at the Royal Albert Hall4BR

Paul added: "The idea is to ask bands to collect £1 per month through subs from band members and join the Brass for Africa 'Hall of Fame' on our website. This small amount could really make a huge impact on young lives.
A band of 30 members raising £30 per month could enable two disadvantaged youngsters to receive ongoing regular music education, whilst a band of 45 members could support the ongoing training and employment of a young African brass teacher!"
