Also joining on solo horn is Rachael Johnson, who takes over from Jennie Worrall who left after 12 months due to increased college work and the travel to rehearsals. Rachael joins having played for Thoresby, YBS and most recently at Honley.

Preparing well

Commenting on the arrivals a band spokesperson told 4BR: "Like most brass bands in our area we still have a few empty chairs to fill, but with these new arrivals we are preparing well for the last part of the year.

We would also like to wish the players that have left us all the best in the future."
