There are less than two weeks left for people to sign up for the exciting Youth Brass Band Training weekend organised by Enderby Youth Band in partnership with the renowned Yamaha Neo Ensemble.
Star leads
The event takes place takes place on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th September at Lutterworth College, with Yamaha stars Russell Gray, Lucy Cutt, Steve Walsh and Simon Gresswell joined by the highly respected trombonist Richard Walker and brilliant young percussionist Jack Fisher.
Additional help and assistance throughout the weekend will be provided by the Enderby Band who will sit in to help the youngsters get to grips with a range of challenging music.
At just £10, the two day course is open to all young players of any standard.
Around sixty young musicians have already enrolled, but there is still plenty of space available for additional players to join up for what promises to be a fun filled and fulfilling weekend of banding and socialisingorganisers
Options
Players can opt to perform in the Junior Band (if they are Grade 2 standard or lower), while more advanced players will form the main band. Both ensembles will benefit from sessions with the specialist tutors.

The course will conclude with a play through of the music learned by both bands on the Sunday afternoon to which parents and friends are warmly invited.
