The Indian Queens Band certainly made themselves heard to their local supporters and even an inconsiderate motorist at their recent carnival day (above).
Fund raising
The event is one of the highlights of the Cornish band's fund raising calendar each year — and once again they delighted the crowds as they marched through the town.
However, when a thoughtless driver ignored road closure notices and started trying to barge through the parade, he was given a stern lecture on road safety by a local community police officer — whilst the band made sure he was left with a musical memory of his misdemeanour with a rousing rendition of 'Slaidburn'!

Busy summer
Indian Queens is currently in the middle of a busy summer season before defending their entertainment award at next month's Exmouth Entertainment Contest.
