Belgian euphonium star Glenn Van Looy has just started on the second leg of a busy word tour that has already seen him perform in America and will now take in Australia, Switzerland and Wales.
The Geneva Instruments International Performance Artist recently landed in Sydney after performing at the prestigious International Euphonium and Tuba Festival in Atlanta in the USA, where he linked up with other renowned performers such as David Thornton, James Gourlay and Aaron Tindall.
Fantastic start
He told: "The I.E.T. is a great festival. All the tutors worked very closely with the students so that they enjoyed a great experience. Educationally it's a fantastic event on a great campus in Atlanta — so it was a fantastic start to the tour."
Australia
Glenn will now be in Australia to the 17th July where he will perform in concerts in Sydney and Melbourne.
He is currently working with the Warringah Concert Brass Band, where he will be featured as both a soloists and conductor in their 'Concert for a Cause' concert alongside MD John Saunders and the Castle Hill RSL Youth Wind Orchestra.
Glenn will then travel to Melbourne to spend another two weeks working with the local bands and giving school masterclasses in Victoria.
Switzerland
The euph star will then have to make a quick acclimatisation as he flies to Switzerland in time for the Summer Camp of Ancient Cecilia at Chermignon in the Swiss Alps, where he will work with a number of promising young musicians.

Wales
Finally, he will head to Wales (hopefully in time for the recent football celebrations over his home nation to have died down!), where he will be the featured soloist on the summer course of the National Youth Brass Band of Wales.
There he will link up with his great friend Tom Davoren, who is leading the course this year, and will perform Peter Meechen's 'Requiem Paraphrases'.
