As we reach the middle of 2016, we celebrate a new chapter in rankings history with the release of the first Band Supplies — British Bandsman/4barsrest.com World Rankings, following a recent deal with the leading retailer based in Glasgow and Leeds. This replaces the long-standing arrangement with World of Brass to which we offer our thanks for its support over the years. Band Supplies Managing Director, Ronnie Tennant, commented: "We are delighted that the name of Band Supplies will be associated with the world's leading brass bands and look forward to a long and successful partnership with British Bandsman, 4barsrest and their World Rankings."
Cory Band remains way out on front following its EBBC success in Lille and looks like it could be facing a tenth successive year at the top, while Carlton Main Frickley Colliery re-enters the top ten after its victory at the recent Spring Festival.
We are delighted that the name of Band Supplies will be associated with the world's leading brass bands...Ronnie Tennant
