Trumpet soloist Alison Balsom has been awarded the OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List.

The official announcement has been made that trumpet soloist Alison Balsom has been made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the Queen's 90th Birthday Honours List.
The award has been made for her services to music.
