The organisers of the Leeds International Concert Season have announced their support for open air concert-going in their area with their 'Summer Bands in Leeds Parks' series — with 100 concerts from 45 bands in 27 open air venues.

Brass, jazz and concert

From the beginning of May until the end of September, the bandstands of the city will resound to the music of local brass, jazz and concert bands. Most concerts are on Sundays from 2.30pm to 4.30pm and are absolutely free.

Picnic

A spokesperson told 4BR: "No matter where you live in Leeds there will be a concert nearby this summer. So dig out your picnic rugs and sun-hats for a perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon."
