Star euphonium player David Thornton's latest CD 'Parallel Realities' features solo playing alongside music using tape-loops, digital playback systems as well as a 'traditional' brass quintet, and it's in the running for a prestigious American music award.
He's also just been appointed as Senior Tutor in Brass Bands at the Royal Northern College of Music and joins Frank to talk about this exciting moment in his already successful musical career.
