We have another nice little brain teaser ahead of the Spring Festival in Blackpool this weekend — so get your thinking caps.
Prize
The prize is a trio of great new pieces of music for your band to play from our friends at Forton Music.
So get the answer right and you could be performing 'Elegy' — a lyrical soprano cornet solo by composer Keiron Anderson; the rousing concert march, 'The Djebels' by Ian Vlemmiks, and Ian's evocative 'Sea of Tranquility'.

Collective noun winner
The best (although we did have a few the same) answer we thought to the question of what would be the most appropriate collective noun for a group of composers was….. a 'Liszt'.
Ian Hopkins of Sheffield wins the prize, although he did admit that he first thought of a 'Brahms and Liszt' of composers but felt the trio in question in the picture would never get themselves into such a predicament…
Ian will be sent the CD releases of 'Black Dyke Gold Volume V', Edward Gregson's new orchestral release and Oliver Waespi's 'In the Picture'.
