Plenty of great playing on show at Elland — from learners to veterans in all shapes and guises...

Elland Silver Band ran their annual Slow Melody, Duet & Quartet Contest recently, where although entries were slightly down due there was still plenty of fine playing on show from the performers in all sections.

Adjudicator Lucy Cutt added that she was very pleased to have heard such good playing and expressed her thanks to all competitors and to the Elland Band for organising the event.
