The organisers of the 40th Brass in Concert Festival, to be held on the weekend of the 19th/20th November at Sage Gateshead in association with Yamaha, Banks Group and British Bandsman, have announced the line-up of contenders for the Championship.
12 bands
Defending Champion Cory will face 11 challengers (including three from overseas), while Brighouse & Rastrick and Carlton Main Frickley Colliery return following their absence from last year's contest.
It is understood that an announcement will be made as soon as possible in respect to a replacement for Foden's, who have withdrawn following the devastating fire to their rehearsal room.
