Skelmanthorpe add youthful tuba talent to the ranks

National Youth Band of Great Britain tuba player Gregor Spence joins Skelmanthorpe Band.

The Skelmanthorpe Band has announced the signing of the talented young Eb tuba player Gregor Spence.

A member of the National Youth Band of Great Britain, Gregor joins from fellow Yorkshire band Barnsley Brass, with a Skelmanthorpe spokesperson telling 4BR: "We're delighted to sign a player who we are sure will be a star of the future.

Gregor is already such a talented player and we look forward to some rewarding results with this signing."
