Pennine Music continues to bring the latest and most exciting new titles to add to your band's repertoire — with three new works that are sure to suit those looking for something a little different for their Spring concert programmes.
Award winner
The first is the winner of the UniBrass 2016 'Best Student Composition Award'.
Entitled 'The Deep', composer Andy Wareham has brilliantly brought together a collection of well-known maritime hymns and turned them into a concert suite with optional narration.
Diadem
The second is a work that has been finding favour with many bands from the pen of Andi Cook.
'Ye Morning Stars Of Light' takes the well-known hymn tune 'Diadem' and turns it into an epic work that works perfectly as a concert opener or finisher.
Sousa gem
Finally, a hidden gem from the march king, John Philip Sousa.
Arranged by Rob Westacott for the Slaithwaite Band following their qualification for the National Finals last year, the 'White Rose March' will certainly appeal to Yorkshire bands, but is also a perfect opener to any concert anywhere in the banding world.
