The players who will fill the horn section of the All Star Band at the forthcoming Peter Parkes — 'A Legend Celebrated' concert at Queen Elizabeth Hall, Oldham, on Saturday 21st May have been confirmed.

Respect

Such was the respect the 'The Major' was held as a conductor that players will make the trip from as far as China to take part in the eagerly anticipated event.

Sandy Smith, Kevin Wadsworth, Ian Fleming, David Essex and Trevor McCormick will form a formidable tenor horn section — with Trevor making the trip from the Far East to attend — whilst the flugel horn seats will be filled by David Pogson, Mark Walters and Stan Lippeatt.
