Stour Concert Brass, the non-contesting community arm of the Shipston Town Band organisation, recently took part in the Good Friday 'Walk Of Witness' in nearby Stratford upon Avon organised by the local Council of Churches.

Locations

A congregation of over 200 people joined the procession as it moved through the centre of the town behind a large wooden cross, stopping in various locations to recall the story of Christ's crucifixion aided by readings and hymns.

The band provided the music at each location (above) and at the conclusion the cross was placed in the ground in the middle of Stratford.
