The programme for the annual Easter residential course of the 80-strong National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain has been confirmed.
Guest conductor this year alongside Artistic Director Bramwell Tovey, is Jamie Phillips, the Associate Conductor of the Halle Orchestra. Tenor horn star Owen Farr, will be the guest soloist.
Fantastic reputation
Jamie told 4BR: "I'm delighted to be able to work with this wonderful band at Easter. As an ensemble with a fantastic reputation, it will be a privilege to be able to work alongside these brilliant young musicians on exciting repertoire.
Having received my musical training as a trumpet player, this group holds extra significance for me, and I'm really looking forward to what should be a very rewarding experience."

The band will hold its Easter residential course at Taunton School, Somerset, from 25th March to 1st April.

Concerts
The concerts will be held at Wells Cathedral on 31st March and Cheltenham Town Hall on 1st April.
