Scottish brass band lovers are certainly being given plenty of opportunity to acquaint themselves with the set-works that will test bands at the forthcoming Scottish Championship in Perth.
Time and place
This time the reigning Scottish champion, Whitburn will host a free test-piece preview evening on Friday, March 11th.
It will feature Whitburn performing 'Cambridge Variations', Bo'ness & Carriden on 'Essay', Broxburn & Livingston playing 'The Mermaid of Zennor' and Whitburn Heartlands Band on 'A Cambrian Suite'.
The evening gets underway at Brucefield Church, Whitburn, at 7.30pm.
