2016 West of England bands set for Torquay

The list of competing bands taking part in the West of England Regional Championships has been announced.

The line-up of bands has been announced that will take part in the West of England Regional Championships at the Riviera Centre in Torquay on the weekend of 12th & 13th March.

Saturday Championship

83 bands will take part this year (up three) in a format that has been revised to incorporate the Fourth, Third and Championship Section bands competing on the Saturday with the Second and First Sections on the Sunday.

Qualifiers

Three bands will qualify for the Royal Albert Hall for the first time since 1994, thanks to Flowers (above) fine fourth place finish last October, with two each in the First and Second Sections and three in the Third and Fourth making it through to Cheltenham.
