The sixth annual UniBrass Championship is being held today at Warwick Arts Centre at the University of Warwick — kicking off on the stroke of 9.00am!
It promises to be a great day of brass band entertainment — with 17 ensembles from all over the country putting thoughts of academic study to one side for a weekend to enjoy the competitive examination of their brass band skills.

Workshops:
Meanwhile, due to last minute personnel changes, the free UniBrass Workshops are now being led by Owen Farr, Richard Marshall, Matthew Routley, James McLeod and Steve Jones.
This Saturday, 20th February 2016, UniBrass will be hosting two workshops led by Owen Farr, Richard Marshall, Matthew Routley, James McLeodand Steve Jones.
The workshops will be split by ability and are free for people of all ages to attend. They will begin at 9:45am and will last all morning, ending with a concert in the Butterworth Hall at approximately 1:25pm.
This is a great opportunity, especially for young musicians, to be able to play to a large and excited audience of brass band fans.
