Thanks to everyone who took part in our identity quiz today — there must be plenty of England football fans out there...

It was of course Roy Hodgson who was being tempted to take on the top man role with the Midland band — a title winning position he hopes to fill at the European Championship later this year.

Winner

Jonathan Ford, a euphonium player with the Longridge Band was the first out of the hat and will soon be listening to the award-winning 'Dark Arteries' CD from Tredegar Band and the new 'Patron's Choice IX' from Foden's.
