ABBA publish official test piece guidelines

The Association of Brass Band Adjudicators have published their officially sanctioned guidelines on the First, Second, Third and Fourth Section Area test-pieces.

The Association of Brass Band Adjudicators has published its officially sanctioned reviews of the test-pieces to be used in Sections 1 — 4 of the 2016 Regional Championship of Great Britain. There is no guideline produced for the Championship Section set work.

Not a blueprint

ABBA has made it clear that each review should not be considered a blueprint for success, but more so a guide as to what adjudicators may be looking for in order to define the accuracy of a performance of each piece.
